Little did I know four years ago that my Amazon Best Selling Book, Whatever! A Baby Boomer’s Journey Into Middle Age, would help me create a brand and lead me on the path to building a business.
Although I’ve always done speaking engagements related to my television news job, having a book added PAID speaking gigs—which turned out to be a blessing after I left my job. I went around the country encouraging women to enjoy their menopause and to embrace the second half of their journey.

I’ve been saying “I have a book in me” for years. I’ve written chapters that lead a sheltered life in my file cabinet. Beverly you’ve shown how writing a book opened up opportunities and boosted your career and it’s inspiring to follow your experience. Maybe it’s time for me to go open up that file cabinet…
You’re the sweetest of sweets! Thank you for the reference. I remember reading your book, Whatever! ~ a few years ago and loved it! Looking forward to reading the latest one as well… hugs to you my friend.
Thank you for this instructive and informative post! I loved it so much I tweeted it.
I teach creative writing (and have just written a book on the subject) so I like to offer my followers useful information that will help them keep going with any writing project they have undertaken.
Thanks again!
I’m glad I found your site and will make it a point to visit often.
Thanks for stopping by and commenting on this blogpost Regina and Lynette.
